“Sportsmanship First League” (SFL)

The Lakota Stallions are a member of the “Sportsmanship First League”. SportsLeader, a Christian Faith based organization, teaches our coaches how to mentor to our players year round. Dave Cisar's, Winning Youth Football, teachers our coaches the X's and O's of youth football.

Some think sportsmanship is considered a sign of weakness when, in fact, it's the ultimate sign of strength. The qualities for which we strive, include:

Displaying “out of control good sportsmanship”
“Transforming boys to Men beyond the goal line”
Making sure that every player has FUN, FIRST AND FOREMOST.

Youth football is a participation sport and is “just youth football,” not high school, not college, or professional football.

We are a league that puts sportsmanship and the player first!
